Just a few steps from the G Hotel you have the very heart of Pescara social life. It is a long promenade and it is perfect for shopping, chatting over a good glass of Montepulciano or eating a nice plate of “Sagne” with friends. Chill Vibes at its best.

Nave di Cascella

Along the seafront, at Largo Mediterraneo, you will find the famous Nave di Cascella: a sculptural ship in Carrara marble that artist Pietro Cascella donated to the Town of Pescara. This ship has two important meanings: It represents the close relationship that the city has with the sea and on the other hand it evokes the prisoners of Pescara forced to work as rowers on Spanish ships in the nineteenth century.

Risorgimento Bridge

The Risorgimento Bridge connects the Pescara River to the square called Piazza Unione. Easy to say it had a tortured history: Built in 1933, like other buildings in Pescara, it was destroyed during World War II and then rebuilt in 1946. At the ends of the bridge, you will find bronze bas-reliefs that will reveal details about the magical background of Pescara.
